Free Spirit Yoga & Pilates ~ What You Need To Know

  • Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to settle in.
  • Please keep talking to a minimum during classes and voice volume soft. Yoga is your time for inner reflection and self awareness.
  • Yoga and Pilates are not competitive practices. We encourage you to work within your own limits.
  • Please ask your instructors for modifications or options whenever you need them. We respect that everyone is unique and we are more than happy to offer adjustments to the poses and exercises in all of our classes.
  • Avoid eating a heavy meal 2 – 3 hours before practicing Yoga.
  • Advise your instructor prior to start of class of any injuries or health issues.
  • Please turn your phone and other electronic devices off prior to entering the studio.
  • Yoga and Pilates are practiced with bare feet.
  • Please do not bring any personal effects into the studio (other than mats, a towel and water.)
  • Store all personal items in the lock up or entrance closet. This helps keeps our environment safe.
  • Bring your own yoga mat and (and a towel for Hot Yoga).
  • When unrolling your yoga mat, please do so mindfully, avoid flipping it out.
  • Showering before class is recommended as a clean body is essential for Yoga. Arrive free of strongly scented body products.
