I first started a regular Yoga preactice 11 years ago in a gym setting and I will be honest, I was there purely for the workout. I immediately noticed the great physical benefits – increased muscle strength and flexibility and less back pain, which I had suffered from since having children. My body felt amazing! Then I began to notice all the other great benefits too: I felt more grounded, less stressed, calmer, happier and more balanced in all aspects of my life. I was hooked!
Soon after I became a fitness instructor, teaching group fitness classes (one of my biggest passions) and then was referred to Free Spirit Yoga for Yoga Teacher Training in 2017. I enthusiastically dove into and completed my 200 hour Yoga teacher training with honors.
Coming from a fitness background, I love creating classes that are fun and well balanced and approachable for all levels, all bodies. When I am not at the gym or on my Yoga mat I love to be outdoors running with my dog, camping, skiing and hiking with my husband and 2 amazing kids.
